Teen living on his own needs clothes & help paying for two college courses

The 17-year-old teen grew up in a small town in northwestern Lehigh County. His dad has been an alcoholic for many years. He rarely has a job, and when he drinks, he becomes violent, slamming his fists into his wife, his kids, and even the dog.

At age 14, the teen hit back to protect his mother. The father threw him out of the house, and his mother encouraged him to get away. He came to a shelter for homeless teens and has been accepted at Northampton Community College. Despite having a job, he cannot afford clothes for school or the full fee for the two college courses he needs.

The Fund provided them.
