Two girls need sneakers that fit

The father of two girls, ages 12 and 15, abandoned his family, leaving them in a financial bind. His whereabouts are unknown.

Because they were five months behind with mortgage payments, and foreclosure was imminent, the mother and children moved in with the maternal grandparents. The mother, suffering from depression and anxiety, is currently not working. She cannot afford to purchase clothing and sneakers for her daughters, all of which are too small and filled with holes. The family does not receive any benefits through Welfare.

The Fund provided them.
