Request: After the court terminated the mother’s rights for her two children, an infant and a 15-year-old, the grandmother became kinship caregiver. To find a suitable apartment for the three of them, she spent all of her savings, and now can’t afford a crib for the baby and a full-size bed for the teen.
Status: The Fund approved $450 for a crib and a bed.
